Terms and Conditions

This English translation is provided for information only. The legally binding version is the Polish one — Regulamin sklepu. If the two differ, the Polish text prevails.

§1. General provisions

  1. 01The online shop available at https://jednozyczenie.pl (the Shop) is run by: [TO BE COMPLETED], address: [TO BE COMPLETED], tax ID (NIP): [TO BE COMPLETED] (the Seller).
  2. 02Contact with the Seller: e-mail kontakt@jednozyczenie.pl.
  3. 03These Terms set out the rules for placing orders, payment, delivery and complaints. Please read them before placing an order.

§2. The product

  1. 01The Shop sells the Wish Lantern (Latarnia Życzeń) — a decorative lantern (approx. 18 cm, 3D-printed, assembled by hand) with warm LED light powered over USB-C.
  2. 02Every lantern is personalized according to the details provided by the Buyer: a name, a date, a short wish to be engraved and the light colour.
  3. 03The configurator preview is illustrative. Because the lanterns are made by hand, minor differences in shade and engraving layout are possible and do not constitute a defect.
  4. 04The product is a decoration and keepsake, not a toy.

§3. Orders

  1. 01Orders are placed through the form in the Shop, after configuring the engraving and adding the product to the cart.
  2. 02The Buyer is responsible for the correctness of the engraving text (spelling of names, date format). Please check the preview before ordering.
  3. 03The sales contract is concluded when the Seller confirms acceptance of the order by e-mail.
  4. 04The Seller may refuse to engrave text that is offensive, unlawful or infringes the rights of third parties — in that case the Seller will contact the Buyer and refund the amount paid.

§4. Prices and payment

  1. 01Prices in the Shop are final prices in Polish złoty (PLN).
  2. 02Payments are handled by an external payment operator; the available methods are shown at checkout when the order is placed.
  3. 03Order fulfilment begins once the payment has been received.

§5. Fulfilment and delivery

  1. 01Every lantern is made to order. Production takes up to 5 business days from receipt of payment, after which the parcel is dispatched (usually within 48 hours).
  2. 02Delivery is available within Poland only, via InPost: InPost Parcel Locker 24/7 (PLN 13.99) or InPost Courier (PLN 15.99).
  3. 03Orders worth PLN 150 or more are delivered free of charge.

§6. Withdrawal from the contract

  1. 01The Wish Lantern is made to the Buyer’s specifications and serves the Buyer’s individual needs. Under Art. 38(1)(3) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014, the right to withdraw from a distance contract does not apply to such goods.
  2. 02This does not limit the rights relating to non-conformity of the goods with the contract described in §7.

§7. Complaints

  1. 01The Seller is liable to the consumer for the conformity of the goods with the contract under the Polish Consumer Rights Act (in particular Art. 43a–43g), for 2 years from delivery of the goods.
  2. 02Complaints can be sent by e-mail to kontakt@jednozyczenie.pl, stating the order number, a description of the problem and — if possible — a photo.
  3. 03The Seller responds to a complaint within 14 days of receiving it.
  4. 04If the goods do not conform to the contract, the consumer may request repair or replacement and, under the statutory rules, a price reduction or withdrawal from the contract.
  5. 05Please report damage that occurred in transit without delay, ideally with photos of the parcel.

§8. Out-of-court dispute resolution

The consumer may use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures, including the help of a municipal or district consumer ombudsman or the regional Trade Inspection. Information is available on the website of the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (uokik.gov.pl).

§9. Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

§10. Final provisions

  1. 01Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by Polish law, in particular the Civil Code and the Consumer Rights Act.
  2. 02The provisions concerning consumers also apply to a natural person concluding a contract directly related to their business activity, where the contract is not of a professional nature for that person.
  3. 03These Terms apply from: [TO BE COMPLETED].
